Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Kibale National Park

Pick-up Time: 6:00 AM – Depart Kampala by road in a private 4x4 safari vehicle.
En Route Stop: Enjoy lunch in Fort Portal and a quick tour of the town.
Arrival at Volcanoes Safaris Kibale Lodge: ~2:30 PM – Welcome drink and check-in.
Afternoon Activity: 4:00 PM – Take a guided walk around the lodge’s nature trails or visit a nearby community for a cultural introduction.
Dinner & Overnight: 7:00 PM at Volcanoes Safaris Kibale Lodge with a sunset view over the forest canopy.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking & Lodge Experience

- Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking & Lodge Experience
  - Breakfast: 6:30 AM
  - Departure for Trekking: 7:00 AM – Short drive to Kanyanchu Visitor Centre.
  - Chimpanzee Trekking: 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM – Encounter wild chimpanzees and spot other primates in their natural habitat.
  - Return to Lodge & Lunch: 12:30 PM – Enjoy a gourmet lunch overlooking the forest.
  - Afternoon at Leisure or Optional Crater Lake Walk: 3:00 PM – Explore nearby crater lakes or relax at the lodge.
  - Evening Activity: 6:30 PM – Enjoy a fireside sundowner followed by dinner under the stars.

Day 3: Scenic Return to Kampala

Breakfast & Check-out: 7:00 AM
Optional Morning Activity: 8:00 AM – Tea plantation tour or birdwatching around the lodge.
Departure: 9:30 AM for Kampala with a scenic drive through Fort Portal.
