Itinerary

Day 1: Departure from Kampala – Arrival at Tabingi Safari Lodge

6:00 AM – Depart from Kampala by road for a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to the endangered mountain gorillas.
12:00 PM – Arrive at Tabingi Safari Lodge Gorilla and check-in.
1:00 PM – Lunch at the lodge. Enjoy a freshly prepared meal while soaking in the views of the surrounding forest.
2:30 PM – Afternoon relaxation and orientation about the following day’s gorilla trekking adventure.
7:00 PM – Dinner and overnight stay at Tabingi Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Adventure

5:30 AM – Early breakfast at the lodge, before setting out for a day of thrilling gorilla trekking in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
7:00 AM – Arrive at the park headquarters for a briefing by your expert guide on gorilla trekking etiquette and safety measures.
8:00 AM – Start the trek through the forest in search of mountain gorillas. The hike may last anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the gorilla family’s location.
12:30 PM – Encounter the gorillas. Spend one hour observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat, capturing photos and creating unforgettable memories.
2:00 PM – Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
4:00 PM – Optional village walk to learn about the local Batwa people’s traditions and culture.
7:00 PM – Dinner and overnight stay at Tabingi Safari Lodge.
