Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

6:00 AM: Depart Kampala by road for Bwindi, driving through scenic hills, banana plantations, and Lake Mburo plains.
1:00 PM: Enjoy lunch en route in Mbarara or Kabale.
5:30 PM: Arrive at Gorilla Safari Lodge, check-in and refresh with a welcome drink.
7:00 PM: Dinner at the lodge followed by relaxation around the campfire.

Overnight: Gorilla Safari Lodge

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

6:30 AM: Early breakfast.
7:30 AM: Transfer to Rushaga trailhead for pre-trek briefing.
8:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Gorilla trekking adventure through dense rainforest (duration varies depending on gorilla location).
2:30 PM: Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
4:30 PM: Optional visit to the Batwa community or a guided nature walk.
7:00 PM: Dinner and evening storytelling session.
